學程介紹：喬治亞州立大學生物學系碩士班提供靈活的課程給對生物學有興趣的學生。 除了一般課程外，還提供生物技術、生物資訊和學術研究等專業方向。 入學時先進入非論文型學程，經甄選後可進入論文型學程。 非論文型學程以修習課程為主，外加一篇學術文章或計畫書；該文章可以是文獻探討型或是實驗實作型。 論文型學程僅推薦給計劃攻讀博士學位的學生。

Selection criteria: TMU students are required to submit TOEFL iBT (minimum 79/120) or IELTS (minimum 6.5/9) scores in order to prove English language proficiency.

Program courses/credits transferable: Up to nine (9) credits of appropriate graduate courses may be transferred to Georgia State toward the respective Master’s degree.
Program introduction: Georgia State's Master of Science (M.S.) in Biological Sciences is designed to offer a flexible program to suit students with a wide variety of interests in biology. In addition to the general program, concentrations are offered in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics and Research. Upon admission, a master's student is assumed to be non-thesis until acceptance into the thesis option. The non-thesis program emphasizes coursework, and a capstone paper or project is required. The capstone can either be literature-based or laboratory-based. The thesis option is only recommended for students who are planning to pursue a Ph.D.
